    Radical Pamphlets

A new theatrical production company focussed upon a range of concepts of freedom and political philosophy. Works in progress include:

'The Bag', is being performed as part of Theatre in the Pound at The Cockpit Theatre, London on Monday 13th February - doors open 6.30 pm, show starts 7 pm - 9 pm (with an interval). Each play is 15-20 mins followed by Q&A.

    SYNOPSIS
Set in New York City - After sharing their regular weekly lunch at the Five Napkins restaurant, two Upper East Side women offer a homeless man $2. They are perplexed by his refusal to accept the money and won't give up until they know why he refuses, and why he has a $2000 bag. In pushing the man, they get much more than they bargained for.

    CAST
The play is directed by Brain Woolland (A Terrible Madness, 2010), This Flesh is Mine 2016, ) and is performed by Helen Clapp (Mollie Ralston, The Mousetrap, 2014), Andrew French (Hector, Troilus and Cressida, National Theatre/Trevor Nunn)  and Hannah Watkins (Sylvia (2003), (Gemma, The Beat Beneath My Feet, 2014).

    OTHER PROJECTS
The second project is a full-length play titled 'Algorithm' (synopsis: It was agreed in 2015 following the creation of a super-computer Algorithm based on all of the philosophies and geopolitical systems ever created on earth, that the 8 global leaders retain the power to sanction or veto all radical solutions. A quirk of the Algorithm is the inclusion of the Oracle of Delphi to mediate the sanctioning process).

The third project is a 1-hour play that I will take to Edinburgh 2018 and will be workshopped in Sheffield. The title is 'Kissing Socrates' (synopsis: A mother, daughter and psychiatrist come together over the process of dying and communication with the dead).

KISSING SOCRATES will be workshopped and scratch performed during 2017 and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018.

Further information will be released in February 2017.
